#Fukushima I Nuke Plant Reactor 2 Reactor Bldg Photos

TEPCO released the photos of the inside of the Reactor 2 reactor building. The photos were taken on May 18, when 4 TEPCO employees entered the building with tungsten vests on.

The photos are taken on the 1st floor of the reactor building.

Would it be safe to assume that the stains on the floor are the result of corrosion from sea water? Is that salt in the lower-left corner of the next-to-last image?

It is either corrosion transport through humidity and outright spills or there is a radiation monster loose killing the workers. The last picture looks like the monster got one of the guys on his back and dragged him off. I bet the workers can't wait until they "tent" the other buildings into saunas. The high humidity is going to force them to use sealed breathing apparatus, filter masks will load up on moisture too quickly to be of much help.

weird... they say that there is a lot of steam inside this building, so much that it is impeding the work in progress, but, except of the first picture, they are all perfectly clear...
